I'm a fan (and you should be too) because...
Britney is a pop singing phenomenon. I began listening to her in 1999 when my first child was born. I have always thought she was amazing. I now have 3 children and each of them love Britney's music as much as I do. She holds nothing back, all of her songs are about issues any of us can relate to, whether it be about growing up, heart break, love, sex, self pleasure,gossip, or just having a damn good time.
I have been through alot with my ex and the child we have together. I may not be famous, but I know what it's like to be verbally pillaged over decisions "society" does not see as appropriate. Although I do wonder what her feelings may be about her children, I know that she loves them and just wants them to have a wonderful life, she can provide them with everything they need, and perhaps she even sees that it is best for them to be with Kevin right now while she not so gracefully (no thanks to the tabloids)dances back into her career.
I know she will figure this out, I know she is a good person and a loving mom. I also know that alot of what we hear on the news and read in magazines is only half of the story and we should not be so stupid to put our faith into tabloids and journalists.
I love Britney because she is living her life and learning from her mistakes, although we may not see it this way now, that is because the paparazzi and story hounds of the world get paid alot more money for making her look bad or catching her in a bad position.
I would like to see any of those idiots be half the entertainer she has become.
Britney, with open arms I welcome you into this new year and I know you will prove yourself worthy of your pop princess label before it is over, all you need is faith and love from the people who see you as a person and not just a performer. You will always be my favorite
