Despite the fact that it's been rumored for years and never materialized, several sources are reporting that Britney Spears will soon record a duet with the hunky Justin Timberlake, pop/R&B star and her ex-boyfriend.
Supposedly, the long-awaited Britney-Justin collaboration will appear on Britney’s new album, which is due towards the end of this year.
"As far as Britney getting back in the studio, obviously a good thing," the former 'N Sync star – and current judge on America's Best Dance Crew – told PEOPLE after Thursday's live season finale. "If she's doing what she loves – because she's had a love for music for such a long time – I'm all for it."
Word around town is that Britney Spears' camp has been brokering deals with a paparazzi agency so they bank off her photos.
Sounds pretty logical, considering the paps know exactly when and where she's going to be at all times.
New York Post reports that Britney "has brokered a series of shots that she's offering exclusively to a celebrity weekly for $1 million."
A rep for Spears said, "If someone is trying to sell photos of Britney in Cabo, they're doing so without her knowledge or permission."
A year after her performance at the Video Music Awards ,Britney Spears returned to the MTV stage this week to tape a promotional video for this year's ceremony.
We're now told everyone in the Brit conservatorship is on board to end the whole deal on October 28.
In court today, the judge extended the conservatorship until the end of the year, but set a hearing on October 28. We're told daddy Jamie is following the lead of the doctors, who are saying they think the 28th is a reasonable time to end the conservatorship. Brit is cool with that as well, though the commissioner said she agreed ... "reluctantly."
We're told between now and October 28, the goal is to gradually wean Brit off being managed so tightly so she can get back to life.
With her divorce settlement behind her, Britney Spears took time out on Saturday night to do something for the kids, adding star wattage to Jenny McCarthy and Jim Carrey's fundraiser for Generation Rescue, an organization dedicated to researching autism.
Britney Spears's custody settlement with her ex Kevin Federline, in which he retained sole custody of the couple's two sons, came at a price.
A source close to the singer confirms she'll now pay Federline $20,000 a month in child support, an increase from $15,000.
Federline's lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, also demanded and received $250,000 for his work on the case, the source adds.
"All Britney was seeking was a formalization of her increased visitation that she's obtained over recent weeks, and the additional overnight," the source said. "She won both of those requests."
Britney and her ex Kevin Federline have reached a custody settlement in their epic court battle over their two sons – averting a scheduled trial.
According to the agreement, which still needs to be signed off on by the court, Federline retains sole custody of the couple's two sons, Preston, 2 1/2, and Jayden, 1 1/2. Spears – who's currently allowed two visits and one overnight per week – will get more visitation rights.

Britney Spears's summer won't be all rest and relaxation this year: The pop singer will be spending time hard at work on her yet-untitled next album, according to her manager.
"Britney Spears is spending her summer in the recording studio, working on a brand new album," manager Larry Rudolph announced Tuesday in a statement released by Jive Records.
More reported details have emerged about the special video sequence filmed by Britney Spears for Madonna's upcoming Sticky And Sweet tour.
"[Britney] was shot in the elevator that is surrounded by seven cameras," a source told Usmagazine.com. "Britney walks into the elevator wearing a black hoodie, and you can't see it's her at first. As the elevator goes up, it becomes clear it's Britney and she's anxious and nervous."
Realising she can't get out, she "starts to kick the wall and hit things," the source added. "At one point she screams into the camera."
