This past Wednesday, Comedy Central aired a new South Park episode entitled "Britney's New Look", where Britney goes to South Park, CO to get away from the photogs, etc only to be literally blocked in once she gets to a hotel. So Stan, Kyle, Cartman and Butters lie to the security guard and tell him they are Britney's kids. So the guard lets them in, and in the disappointment of it really being someone trying to get a picture of her, Britney shoots herself in the head with a shotgun.

While for the most part I enjoy the cd, there are a couple of misses about the cd that irk me quite a bit. First, let's start with the censorship on the cd. I'm sure there are very few of us on here that DID NOT hear the leaked versions of "Hot as Ice" and "Get Naked". While I like the more cleaner produced version of "Hot as Ice", I don't like the fact that it was beeped out. Maybe Jive did it because it was worried about the 'younger crowd'. Well, the fact is, that the cd is suggestive enough to where people but so young should be listening to it anyways.

With Britney's personal life in shambles, it was quite uncertain how good her new album would be. Would the fans be cranking up like "In the Zone", or would "Blackout" be in the pile with Ashlee Simpson's poor last attempt? While as a whole album, I do not think it is her best cd, the best songs on "Blackout" are by far her best tracks to date. Take the first single, which was sprung on the radio one night with no inclination from anyone whatsoever. "Gimme More" is a great pop song. It's got the beat, plus it also has a message.
