I'm a fan (and you should be too) because...she inspires my own creativity. I am a film studies student, and her videos and performances give me inspiration in my own projects. I have listened to B since "...Baby One More Time" hit shelves in January 1999. I love her music, performances, music videos, etc. She is an amazingly talented woman. I admit to having wanned as a fan during the "Britney" era mainly because my parents thought she was too provocative and I was young and did not know any better. Once I heard "Me Against the Music," my fanatic ways returned. (I love the "Britney" era, so I don't understand why I wasn't a fan during that time) I went and saw The Onyx Hotel Tour, when she came to Detroit. It was the best concert I had ever been to. I have been very alone, when it comes to being a Britney fan. I have no friends who like her music. It kind of sucks, but I still stay true to her. I am always defending Britney. Sometimes, I may not agree with her decisions, but I still support them. I LOVE YOU, B!
The Highlight of Britney's Career
BLACKOUT is arguably the best studio album of Britney's career, as well as the year of 2007. Here is a track by track review of Britney's new album.
1. "Gimme More" - Awsome song! This was the perfect comeback single. "It's Britney, b****." The repetative chorus is actually pretty cool. Growning "more" in high and low pitches = hotness. (5/5)
2. "Piece of Me" - A bit monotinous, but overall pretty sweet. (4.5/5)
3. "Radar" - A catchy, mediocre track. Not a highlight track off the album, but good, nonetheless. (4/5)
