Your "3" Reviews

Who better than YOU, the fans, to write the official Britney.com guest blog for B's latest hit single? No one! That's why I've posted the best of the best of your reviews right here. If I'm ever out sick and need a blogger to fill in, now I know who to call! Drum roll, please... and the reviews are in:

It wasn't too long ago that a Catholic schoolgirl-clad Britney came onto the scene to let us know "she’s not that innocent," and her new single, "3," is a solid confirmation of that fact. Co-written and produced by Max Martin, who also worked with Spears on another notoriously risqué song, "If U Seek Amy," "3" further explores Britney’s sexual side. Britney's telltale sensuality coupled with the up-tempo, techno-pop beats makes this a maust-have party hit! Katie Rensing, United States

"3" is the newest single from Britney Spears, an artist known for pushing the envelope with lyrics, grunts and groans, and of course, videos. "3," written and produced by Max Martin, is about, well, it's plainly obvious what it's about. It's no surprise that Britney's songs tend to wink at naughtiness ("Slave," "Oops," "Amy" and the entire Blackout album), but she always ensures that she's only playing. The song has a been there-done that feeling, but Britney and Max make it clear that the duo are still nothing less than gold. —Ryan LaRoche, United States

Move over, Amy! Peter, Paul and Mary are here to stir things up. Collaborating with legendary hit maker Max Martin, Britney Spears has once again not failed to deliver; “3” immediately incinerated all reservations I had about another Britney Spears compilation album (aka The Singles Collection.) The school-chant rhyme that makes up the chorus instantly surrounded me in pure bubblegum-pop goodness, yet singing about a controversial topic, Britney has further proved to us that she’s not afraid to push the envelope. From experience, I can confidently say that “3” is one song that fans and non-fans alike will enjoy. David Rodrigues, United States

You can't help but listen to "3" and wonder if it's about a game of Twister with three mates or getting down on the floor for some triple loving. As the song may be risqué for some, I believe we should embrace the energy and fun vibe that shines throughout it and continue celebrating a great entertainer's music. Mattybl92, United Kingdom

At first listen, it's clear this track is unlike anything Britney or producer Max Martin has ever done. "3" marks Britney’s first experimentation into rave-inspired music, as her voice slithers along the bridge, cooing the words, “Are you in,” in such a seductive manner, the listener has no choice but to surrender. Britney Spears is causing controversy once again... but there's no reason to get worried. Her new single, "3," most certainly has the "Midas Touch" of one of the world's biggest hit makers, Max Martin. Many fans are buzzing about the lyric, "Peter, Paul and Mary" and whether it references religious icons or a '60s folk band. Who knows; I just say that living in sin is the new thing – as Britney says. Gustavo Koch, Brazil

"3" is reminiscent of Britney's "If U Seek Amy," which was a marvelous single that took the world by storm. Showing that she truly is the ringleader in charge, what Britney has accomplished with Max Martin is a catchy, up-tempo song that will definitely rule the music industry for years. Kavian Borhani, Denmark

As usual, Britney Spears does with "3" what she always does best — ignores the tabloids, forgets the rumors, and never stops dreaming. Britney began this decade the same way she is closing it... with another hit and a reminder that she is not going anywhere! Michael Ribezzo, United States

Three seems to be Britney Spears' lucky number. She surprised us with three different personas in hits “Toxic” and “Womanizer." Only this time, she hasn't multiplied again... but she does have some company. When it comes to the Queen of Pop, you can always expect more than the competition! Nathalia Ferrari, Brazil
