    Britney's Sweet Dreams Interlude is a rare misstep for the pop princess. The sequence reduces humanity down to a sadomasochistic orgy. This is not a good message for teenagers, let alone the fact that it is a gross distortion of the dynamics of human relations. The lyrics, "some of them want to abuse you, some of them want to be abused" is a simplistic analysis of the human psyche, stopping at a point of self-indulgent convenience, not unlike many of Marilyn Manson's songs. Anyone who wants to abuse someone else is unhealthy - obviously - and anyone who wants to be abused is unhealthy - obviously. The thing is, both the unhealthy states of mind mentioned in the interlude can be healed. Britney should be encouraging the healing of minds - not the exploitation of them.
    Britney knows this deep down.

    The Story:

    Britney is feeling down from biased media coverage and distorted rumors - not to mention a permanent paparazzi tail. Suddenly, she starts to get uplifting messages of some sort, from an unknown sender. The messages remind her of her intrinsic beauty and brilliance - and they point out the humor of her situations - making fun of the cheesy media, etc.
    Then, as Britney is driving around town, shopping, etc., her eyes begin to catch uplifting messages on signs, billboards, shopping bags - anything with text on it that she passes by.
    At some point the signs may even give her direction - help her avert a disaster - perhaps help her escape the paparazzi. A combination of timely text messages and her eyes catching a glimpse of helpful text on signs helps her escape to an oasis where she can rest her beautiful self.
