Before the tour completely winds up, I'd urge a South American leg. I sense vibrant fan base in major cities on the continent as evidenced by postings on this site, epitomized by 'Kill the Lights' winning music video Argentinian fan submission. Circus format is of universal appeal. Cementing fan support 'south of the border' should be pursued.

My inner 'ferengi' couldn't miss observation by poster that fan-inspired animation music video for condensed version of 'Kill the Lights' resembled an 'Esurance' commercial. Indeed so! Yet another potential Britney brand extension.

Made it my business to catch Cirque de Soleil 'Alegria' performance last night, Prudential Center, Newark. Brit was front row attendee at their Las Vegas show last summer shortly before current CD was dubbed 'Circus' and tour took shape. Curious what creative influence, if any, 'Cirque' may have had on Brit's endeavors - seeking a window into her thought process.
Not disappointed. There are commonalities and I've every reason to believe 'Cirque' was, to some degree, inspiration for 'Circus' CD title and format of its supporting tour show now on the march across the globe. Cirque has a following but I'm guessing the arena was likely about 40% filled and if you don't know French, you're not clued in on the acrobatic opera's discussion topic. (They should sell a program pamphlet with song translations.)
Brit's works are in plain English and if you're inclined to, dimensions of meaning are discernible. In a sense, she's reinterpreted Cirque for mass audience appeal. 'Duh' media, of course, gives her no credit for artistic vision.
Arena presentations are new for Cirque, so, for all we know, Brit's revisioneering may have indirectly inspired Cirque to advance its own mission...it's all our little secret.
