My Reviews & Blog

  • My previous post was from one of Britney's fan sites. I believe it!

The Bottom-line: Sony/BMG/Zomba Label/Jive Records have pulled the plug on "Blackout" and any future single or music video releases. Basically, Jive Records is shutting down "Blackout" because there isn't any more money to be made from it - in their opinion. This was Britney’s best studio CD, so I'm very disappointed. Britney really needs to leave this company!

  • I have a contact who works at Sony/BMG Canada in their headquarters in Toronto.

He gave me the same information and a little extra information. He is the Events/Promotions Manager. He got this information as a heads up of a big release in an email sent from Sony/BMG headquarters.

December 9th, 2008 is the tentative release date on Sony/BMG’s release schedule for the 4th quarter.

Here’s the other information I was told:

  • I believe that Britney is planning to start over completely. First, I hope that she leaves Sony/BMG's Zomba Label / Jive Records as quickly as she can. After the way, they pulled the plug on the Radar single and music video -- I think the parting will be good for Britney! Blackout is Britney's best studio CD to date, and Jive Records totally ignored that. The music industry is so fickle, and Britney is emotionally fragile, so she doesn't need to be connected to a company that blatantly disrespects her.
