Many women have an impact on my life. However, I don’t admire all of them. My very own mother is, to me, the most obvious person, to fill out that leading position, of being the woman I admire most. But then I thought to myself: whom else do I really admire? The first name to enter my mind was the famous pop princess, Britney Spears.
Some people might wonder why I admire her, because many people often compare Britney to bad connections, such as creating hideous music, being an awful mother, along other critical points of view. But I admire her for many reasons. At first, she has enchanted the entire world with her beautiful voice. By doing so, she serves as a role model for many girls (including me), maybe even young women, in today’s society. That gives her a lot of pressure to act and behave in a certain way. You can agree or disagree, but I feel that no matter how many times Britney has been acting outrageous, according to the tabloids, she’s still a brilliant example to be someone that I would admire. That’s because Britney shows just how wrong things can get, and afterwards how to figure out what went wrong, and finds a solution. And even though she’s only 26, she has already experienced tons of things, good as bad.
Her ex-husband, Kevin Federline, humiliated her an unknown number of times, in front of hundreds of paparazzo’s, which follow her 24-7. This has resulted in many horrible scandals, most of them wrongly becoming all Britneys fault. Not to mention her mental breakdown, which later made her shave herself bald in front of live TV. She also tried to commit suicide and lost custody of her two children. On the Internet, people bet on when she will die which I find very inappropriate. Just to mention a few situations.
All of these crucial events have happened, but I always believed, that she would overcome the doubts that people had about her, and defeat the guilt that she felt. And now she’s about to. This year, Britney won three awards at the MTV VMAs, she now has the rights to spend time with her children and she’s releasing a new album due December 2nd, this year. That definitely makes me admire this woman. A person that has been through what she has been through or alike, while being famous worldwide, would might fall and never get back on track. This occurred to Britney, but she made it, and that is what I truly admire her for. She has fallen from grace, she has paid the price for fame, but she maintained to get through it, and now she’s coming back.
I like..
..this album. But I must say that I was surprised in both a good and a bad way. Well, in a very good way, because it was like something new and I really liked it. And in a bad way, because it was somehow very, mhhh.., instrumental. And to me, it's like the darkest album which she has ever made. Of course, she also released it in her "bad period" which some people would call it. I like this album and I listen to it really often but I would somehow still call it Britney's "black album", because it reminds me of "that time", you know... Plus it also reminds me of parts of my personal life which were very hard, but that doesn't have anything to do with Britney, of course. ( ;
