In my opinion, "I Got That (Boom Boom)" would've made an awesome club hit and definitely would've gotten some good radio play, but "Breathe on Me" is just too much of an awesome song to be looked over. It's everything Britney represents, sexy, catchy, fun, and just imagining the possibilities we'd have had for a music video blows my mind. So obviously, that's the song I gave my vote to.

on "The Singles Collection" Available Now

Not going to speak directly to anyone because I think we all know how that turns out, but seriously, I personally LOVE what's being released to us, and as great as a Circus DVD would be, I really don't care either way. The way I see it is, why pay for something that you could watch on YouTube for free?

I can however sympathize with the fans in countries that Britney didn't tour. You have reason to be disappointed. The only thing that gets to me, is criticizing Britney and her team. It's just like BRITannica's tweet from earlier today, all of these decisions are made for a reason. Let's all just appreciate what we have now, and save the wishing for later. I mean, it's almost 2010 !! A whole new year of Britney. And I'm sure they've got something great planned. After all, B has the BEST fans in the world. Both her and her team has recognized that. We deserve a surprise. But for now, the Box Set will do just fine. x♥x♥

Why I'm a Fan

There are so many reason's why I'm a Britney Spears fan, and none of them are short and simple, so summing up my reasons in a single paragraph is pretty much impossible, but alas, I'll try.
I began listening to Britney as soon as she hit the air waves. 1998, I was in the 5th grade, flipped on the radio, and there she was. ..Baby One More Time was blasting through the speakers like something I've never heard before and I was taken away.
With each year Britney's music wasn't the only thing capturing my undivided attention, but it was the media's perception of her as well. They didn't realize it but the more negativity they tried to pin on her, the more captivating she became. To me at least. See, I'm a sucker for controversy. I love to see chaos for little to no reason, and when Britney performs, it's the shock value that keeps our gaze glued to her. Not only that, but when seeing her interviews, and documentaries, you'll come to realize that Britney the person isn't at all controversial. She's(and this may sound cheesy) just like me.
Britney Spears is more than a performer, and more than a person, she's a symbol of everything I aspire to be, and everything I fear all at the same time.
