Britney Tops Forbes' List of Highest-Paid Women In Music
Britney Spears has topped the list of Forbes' highest-paid women in music for 2012, thanks to making a whopping $58 million in May 2011 though May 2012 from endless amounts of hard work — her Elizabeth Arden fragrance line, her platinum-selling Femme Fatale album and massive world tour. Taylor Swift and Rihanna both come in second and third, respectively.
Brit Brit ranks no. 7 overall on Forbes' list of the world's 25 highest-paid musicians for 2012. Congrats, B! xx

Tonight marked the semi-finals for The X Factor with Britney's own Carly Rose Sonenclar competing against Emblem3, Fifth Harmony and Tate Stevens. Both of Carly's performances were show-stoppers, with the talented teen singing "Your Song" by Elton John and "Imagine" by John Lennon. I'm a huge Beatles fan, so I was especially thrilled! 
As for dropping from No. 1 to No. 2 on the leader board last week, Carly tells The X Factor, "I think that it's a good place to be right now. If I was at No. 1, where can you go from there?"

Britney Tops List Of Most-Searched Celebrities
Brit Brit stands out at no. one for the most-searched celebrities on the Internet for the past 12 years. Though Kim Kardashian was this year's most sought-after celeb on the 'net, Brit Brit took the top spot for seven of the 12 years (2001, 2002, 2003, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008). Like, that's pretty much the amount of time we've been using the Internet anyway, amIright? Britney wins. xx

The Competition Heats Up On 'The X Factor'
The stakes are high and competition was fierce during last night's The X Factor with the final six contestants each singing an unplugged song and a Pepsi Challenge Song as chosen by viewers. Two of Britney's Teens are left — Carly Rose Sonenclar and Diamond White. To recap via The X Factor:

Carly Rose Sonenclar: Justin Bieber's "As Long as You Love Me": Hoping to keep that number one spot for a third week in a row, the teen sensation continued to flaunt her vocal abilities. "I love you so much," exclaimed L.A. Demi agreed wholeheartedly saying, "you sang it better than the Justin did." Simon confidently declared, "I am seeing a star emerge," and Britney was proud with a capital "P!"
'Scream & Shout' Hits The Top Of The Charts
Brit Brit is No. 1 AGAIN, y'all! will.i.am's hit "Scream & Shout" single feat. Britney Spears is officially at the top of Billboard's Digital Songs chart. This marks Britney's seventh No. 1 on the eight-year-old tally.
The good folks over at MTV News also recently chatted with "Scream & Shout" video director Ben Mor about the video concept and working with Britney: "I mean, she's kind of an enigma. Every generation has their pop queen/icon, and I think she is just that person," Mor told MTV News. "Needless to say, her track record speaks for itself: her albums, her music, her iconic past videos and all the stuff she's done. She's earned her stripes. You're dealing with an institution."
