In reference to my previous post, on the new video and the words for Break the Ice...I realize if you follow the song word for word it's about the re-kindling of an early teenage relationship, which was put on hiatus for what ever reason (perhaps a forced move by a parent), and...nevertheless, taking things to the next level as if they had never been separated--but, that would probably be difficult to portray in a four minute video. And the version that popped into my head sprang from the chorus itself, as only upon repeated hearings do you get the full grasp of the lyrics involved. Anyway, just wanted to acknowledge that fact after I realized I left that point out in the previous post.

SonyBMG UK have confirmed that there will be no further releases from “Blackout”, and that “Radar” has been cancelled as a single worldwide, with no plans to record a video, as Britney is working on a new studio album. Jive Records had previously added 24th June 2008 as the ‘add date’ 4 the single at USA radio, but this has been removed.

I have a contact who works at Sony/BMG Canada in their headquarters in Toronto.

He gave me the same information and a little extra information. He is the Events/Promotions Manager. He got this information as a heads up of a big release in an email sent from Sony/BMG headquarters.

December 9th, 2008 is the tentative release date on Sony/BMG’s release schedule for the 4th quarter.

Here’s the other information I was told:

Jive and Britney’s team are closing down “Blackout” because of all the negatives that are associated with this album, not necessarily the music itself, but the drama from Britney’s personal life that will always be attached and associated with the “Blackout” album. It may be a great album but the image attached to it will keep it back from ever progressing further. Britney and her team mutually agreed to start off fresh with a new album and a brand new cleaned up image. Jive Reps are extremely happy with the quality with the new material she’s recorded with Bloodshy, Danja, JR and Polow. She’s currently working in the studio with Guy Sigsworth and then scheduled with The Runawayz late June.

I think we have had enough with these little polls...they were okay to begin with but then they just got straight out Boring...I meen I know they are about Britney...but we want more official stuff like video updates or news no polls.
