Yeah, yeah... the MTV Video Music Awards aren't quite as spectacular when Britney isn't there. But even though our girl didn't attend last night (Brit Brit be busy, you guys!), she was sweet enough to send a congratulatory tweet to the adorbs One Direction boys on their multiple VMA wins last night!

The British boy band was a finalist on The X Factor in the UK, and they've since been taking the U.S. by storm. So much that they serve as inspiration for what Britney and her fellow judges will be looking for on this season of The X Factor. In turn, the guys wanted to remind fans about The X Factor HOLLYWOOD RED CARPET EVENT this Tuesday, September 11th.
