OMG - "Circus" or "Blackout"?
I would like to know which of these two amazing albums you prefer. "Circus" is hot, although I guess like me many people will miss the "Blackout" times... I cannot choose the one I prefer 'cause I love both, but do you've got a favorite?

i would choose blackout although i love all the singles from circus i would say all the non singles from blackout are more original than all the non singles from circus
All the songs from Blackout kinda gelled together. It feels like a complete whole album. Unlike Circus, yes there are different flavors of ice cream but these are what makes the album weak, as it was in different themes. And I would like to also add in relation to a comment made by Britney about "Circus" that a circus has "fire, lions, tigers, bears, magic, tricks, its everything." Yes it is, Brit. But I think you missed out on that very aspect as well. About 'fire', I think CIRCUS lacks that and is present in BLACKOUT. The fierceness of the tigers, lions, and bears, are all present in BLACKOUT and only appears in 2 tracks from CIRCUS: "Womanizer" and "Circus." And if not for 2 particular songs that I don't quite dig [I'm not saying I hate it. I just don't dig it.]: "Mannequin" and "My Baby," I think CIRCUS would've been great.
So yeah. BLACKOUT.

blackout feels very empty, sad and dark, but the songs are all so good, the only complaint I would have is Britney didn't write one song, and after her last album she wrote like most of the songss it was a bit of a dissapointment but Circus was happy, varied and felt happy and like she said ' like different flavours of ice cream' and felt a little happier that she wrote some of the songs. But I would say Blackout, if she had'nt been in such disaray at the time of release and promotion had happened I reckon the album would have been huge!

I like Circus better because she was happier, even though Blackout had excellent music. I like parts of each album. My favorite songs from each would be: (not in any order) Get Naked, Piece of Me, Why Should I Be Sad, Mannequin, Womanizer, If U Seek Amy, Gimme More, Break the Ice, and Kill the Lights. But this is about albums. Oops.
Also, Circus has had an AMAZING tour. It was the most fun I've had in my life!
Overall, I think Circus was better in terms of overall, tour, and Britney's happiness. Blackout was better in content.

Definitely Blackout. I mean, consider what was going on in her life then. For those hard times, she made some really good music (especially "Get Naked" and "Gimme More"). I liked Circus too, but Blackout is just better. We should have a poll!

Both albums in the current over-work, so they are both excellent
For me, Blackout was her dark days you know Januarary 2008 and so on, she had that meltdown, and Blackout is good, but, not as good as Circus. Circus is her pop days, and now she is feeling alot better then she was. Circus is her album, and it's more like her, you know what I mean. So Circus is so AWESOME. My mom got the album for me for Christmas.
Circus defiantly its has more of a variety.

definatly circus. blackout was amazing but it was computerized wayy to much and circus does have robitizted songs that are good but shows more of britney's talent in my opinon. but i love baby one more time more than circus

Circus. Blackout was just a bit too mechanical for me, it was good, don't get me wrong, but it seemed as if it was trying to be techno, but it came out as somewhere in between pop and technp. I feel like Circus is a healthy blend of the original Britney pop sound, and the fun techno sound of Blackout. So for me it's the best of both worlds.

both albums are both unique in there own way i love them both but if I had to choose I would choose Circus

What one likes is matter of personal taste and sensibility. CD is artistically effective if it emotionally moves the listeners.
I don't really think it's possible for me to choose a "favorite" album. Every song is unique in its own way, so you can't really compare the songs with each other.
Blackout is the CD that turned me into a Britney fan, and I still love every single song off that album.
Nevertheless, when it comes to my favorite songs from Circus, I love them just as much as my favorite ones from Blackout.
Therefore, I can't really answer that question.
Both CDs are amazing. Almost all Britney music is amazing. So I can't really compare them.

Blackout obviosly excellent, how can you not pick this album . It was so different than any of her previous albums it was the best album on the planet but circus is good .
I've got to duck this question. It's like asking a parent which child they have more affection for. I respect and appreciate the artistic achievement of both CDs, co-equally (especially since I deem 'Heaven on Earth' in 'Blackout', 'Unusual You' in 'Circus' as long distance dedications from BJS' guardian angel~a cosmic 'thank you' on account of chicken soup for the soul' communications I've been dispensing via assorted internet postings since August '07).
I've been mulling this one over also...... I think I'm more inclined to say "Blackout" as it's so different from any of Britney's other albums, and the fact that she was going through such a hard time and still managed to pump out a fantastic album!
Blackout didn't get the credit it deserved, in my opinion!
