They were both extremely young, and yes they were obviously in love. But something disrupted that. One of these two love-struck individuals got lost in the spotlight and in doing so, rejected the value of commitment. Now it's only speculation so of course I have no place to say which one of them was at fault, but because of that, a relationship, or a commited relationship rather, is nearly impossible. Sure they would 'look' cute and happy together, but didn't they appear to be a match made in heaven back then as well? Appearances are deceiving. Especially in the industry they've been apart of. A second chance at a relationship for them would be lacking a major factor; trust. And no matter who it was that ruined what they had way back when, trust is something neither of them can give or obtain based on their pasts with each other, and anyone else they've allowed into their lives. Britney has two beautiful baby boys who don't need to be confused by seeing mommy in and out of relationships. Justin has reached the peak of his career and right now, he's living it up and having the time of his life. He hasn't yet gained the maturity points needed to be in a trusting and commited relationship. Especially one involving children. Britney has been through a really tough time and is finally back on track. She's grown and matured greatly and right now, all Justin would do is derail her. Maybe when their careers have both slowed down, and Britney's boys are a little older, then who knows. But right now, the distance between them shouldn't be shrinking the slightest bit.
They're at their happiest right now, apart.

I agree with VannHarlow. Brit should find someone outside of the entertainment industry! The question is, how do you determine if someone genuinely loves the the real Britney Spears OR just her money and/or good looks??? I have come up with a plan. First, Britney should change her looks, clothes etc so no one will recognize her. Then, she should go out and buy an old beat up car and lease (or rent) a run down trailer. Go about life like a country bumpkin. When she finds a potential prospect, she should go out with them on a couple of dates. She'll know soon enough if they are indifferent to her socioeconomic status. If they like her for who she is and don't comment on her simple lifestyle, THEN she can reveal to them who she really is and take it from there.

I feel, that Britney and Justin, were a cute couple, he was her first love. Then it just didn't work out, and it was un called for, for Justin to make a video of there break up, cry me a river was so un called for. If I were Justin, I would of took Britney back in a heart beat, and worked things out with her. Instead of hurting her with that video, Justin should of took Britney in his arms and never let go. I do hope that Britney and Justin are still friends, friends are best. Britney needs a true love in her life, to make her life complete, to make her life whole, a man that loves her, for her the person, the human being, the beautiful lady that she is. Britney is a strong,beautiful,sweet,kind,passionate woman, all she wants and needs is true love, like all of us, to make our lives complete. Brit is only 27; she's definitely seen much darker sides of life than most 27 year olds, but she's still young, and she'll eventually end up where she's happy, where she belongs. Until then, she can just be single and fabulous and an amazing mommy to her two beautiful boys
