A heart-broken fan
So Im just going to get straight to the point. For years i've stood by Brits side threw thick and thin and supporting her all the way I own all of her studio albums, right now shes at a career best in terms of charting singles and I just feel like shes just not there anymore she seems so bored she clearly cant dance anymore which may have something todo with her foolish and stupid smoking habit dancers + cigarettes = fail.
Shes so unenthusiastic about everything now me and my friend were getting super excited for the 3 video much like we have since POM hoping it would be back to typical Britney caliber (basically everything in the zone and before) and we've constantly been let down. We got the screen shot of what looked like Britney dancing in the 3 video before its release and we got super excited unfortunately when the video finally came out it was truly nothing a real Britney fan could be proud of trying ridiculously hard to be sexy terrible choreography and the most awkward close up shots imaginable.
Britney is one of few 90s popstars (and in general) who have secured decade long-longevity. She just isn't bringing anything to the table anymore and shes had the best singles of her career Radar I just you it would be the new toxic.... Is her time up? What is it? I just don't know if i cant continue to support and artist that isn't appreciating what there achieving.
What happen to her smile... it used to be soo amazing and genuine now she just looks lost.

im agree about the videos of madonna are not so amazing but concerts+ music yes are good.
grammys or any award is not the reflection of the popularity and good work that britney brings in each cd or video.
im not talking about being naive nop you can be young and so adult or adult and act so young

this is her last work with jive so they wanna have a new material 4 this next year.

but hopefully she has more control for the upcoming album and please let it be more urban like BLACKOUT! and her dancing i know she got it she needs to get comfortable again and i hope she does soon ! the Grammy's really did not show her any appreciation which means she really didint impact the music industry as much as we thought she did but i will continue to support her no matter what but i do hope she steps it up and give beyonce and lady gaga a run for their money we all know she can its britney biitch
IN fact,you are all talking about Britney's music.But i wanna say her thoughts.I am young,i don't know whether Britney's music will fit for me when she is getting older and older,I mean a 30 singer can't sing a 20 person's thoughts.And i don't like maturity.Because when you grow up ,life will give you much pressure.Why can't we do some crazy things?I know Brit did some silly things.But because of this,i love her so deeply~So.......if Britney has wisdom and maturity,that just will lose one of the reasons i like her

how dare you say her career will start to wane because she's 28 some people don't reach their peak of fame until they're in their 30's and sorry she doesn't look like a 21 year old naive girl who lied about her virginity to the ENTIRE WORLD, what she has now is wisdom and maturity she has learned soooo much over the last couple of years. And you have the audacity to say she shouldn't have married, her kids are her life and Britney is smarter than you think she understands now that she got married for the idea of marriage but it has made her stronger. No duh, her kids are her main priority that's how all good parents are they would do anything and everything for the their kids.
Madonna's music and videos aren't anything great but her tours are breathtaking.
Circus is her first album to have that generic quality since the Britney album. In the Zone and Blackout are praised by critics and fans alike. Britney's 7th album is rumored to be more urban meaning it will likely be praised by critics and fans so don't be worried at all.
Like i said she needs sneakers, wade and andre back once the happens her dancing will be great again. it's not the she unenthusiastic but she is more apprehensive about letting go but she's becoming more comfortable so we will probably she that dorkish brit once again next era. Some songs are great but either is isn't a single or the video isn't good or it just isn't noticed. Radar for example had everything going against it it was 2 years old it was used for the candies endorsement and had a different video if they had stuck to brits original idea it may have charted better. Circus didn't bring anything new to the table because jive held her back for making it urban they made circus very cheap to make and very generic. Don't blame brit for that blame jive

a lot of ppl like in the zone and blackout others not is simply the taste. i do prefer also circus. bomt, oidta and yes my fave album ever is britney songs like: oveprotected, slave 4 u, lonely etc are so amazing 
is just give her time. she is better than 2 years ago by example 
britney must have a lot of confidence on her and not follow new tendencies like: rihanna in rated or lady gaga also are other type of music are more darket. other point that i said is about that brit doesnt need to sell sexuality all the time she has talent she can dance much better ( specially in videos is not the pressure like on tours) womanizer video and circus video are my fave for this era and piece of me from blackout. 4 britney all the videos but overprotected is my fave until this years. she must be in balance and continue with good music, good videos and a lot of energy also she needs to take a vacation and let her be 4 a while 
RE: 'bossben' I dont think you are right in saying once a singer hits 30 they're career goes on the wane! There are plenty of examples of singers who's career's went from strength-to-strength well into their 30's and beyond! People like Sir Paul McCartney, Tina Turner, Madonna, MJ, Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, Janet Jackson...I could go on but Im sure you get the jist!
But, sadly, I do feel Britney's time could be up unless her next studio album is amazing! TBH she hasnt had a really good album since the 'Britney' album! Though to be fair 'Circus' is probably her best since then so I guess she is showing signs of improvement! But this next album is THE most important album of her career! She has bought herself a bit of time & patience from me thanks to 'Circus' being an improvement on 'In The Zone' and 'Blackout' but really even I have found myself wondering why I am still a fan of her's recently, and that is SO not like me!
madonna is 51 and see her she is perfect in all her music videos her albums and tour it doesnt matter the age.

Britney is 28.I think when a singer is 30,his career will begin to wane.SO...not more time.Britney is only 28,but she looks sooo tired now.She looks a little older.I hope she is 21,but we must face the fact.I don't think Britney will bring us wonderful things what is better than Baby one more time and so on.....yeah,but she could get close.

Britney isn't 21 anymore she's a 28 year old mother of 2 with 2 knee surgeries. she won't ever get back to being as good as she was in the Slave 4 U days but she could get close. The main reason her dancing abilities aren't great is because wade and andre got fired because fans complained about their choreography and had to hire some choreographer she has never known so he/she doesn't know Britney's abilities and gave her a watered down version of the tour choreo and the stage has 3-rings and is in the rounds. Main point she won't get back great dancing abilities until she gets Wade and Andre back as her choreographers.
Britney is a extremely private person and become more so after the breakdown, she just needs time to become comfortable being back in the spotlight.The 3 video is a great video, not every video will/can be a BOMT ,Toxic ,or Womanizer.
Her Time isn't up. She WANTS to tell us a story, the weird music for the Circus intro the interlude for Freakshow, The Robe she wore in NYC, they are signs. Jive held her back with this album it HAD to be poppy to get the public on her side. The next album will be her, i just know deep inside she'll blow us away. Britney needs to be in control for the 7th album not Jive, not Larry, not anyone but her.
Radar would have never been a hit single it was two years old and had a boring video. She needs to go to her piano and write her heart out once that happens a great album with great singles and stellar videos will happen. Britney isn't happy with her career she follows the industry she is probably very determined to show these new chicks who calls the shots and very angry she is being out shined by them.
Britney knows what's up. Wait until the next album. She will show the world who is in control.

We all know what you're saying. I have also been disappointed by the lack of choreography in the videos since In The Zone. What you have to remember is that, over the past few years, Britney has been through a lot of bad stuff and her confidence has been knocked. She is slowly getting back to the Britney she used to be, but, without doubt, she is still feeling fragile and finding her feet. She just needs time to heal, so that she can start trusting the people around her again. It certainly has nothing to do with her not trying hard enough, or not being enthusiastic about her performances, because at the end of the day, her career, along with her two boys, is the thing that means everything to her. She cares about her fans and would never want to let them down. You just need to give her some time. I honestly believe that she will make another killer video one day, just as she'll sing live on tour, start singing ballads again and we'll get to hear the kinds of vocals that she used when recording Don't Let Me Be The Last To Know, Baby One More Time and Born To Make You Happy, rather than the heavily over-produced vocals of songs like Radar and 3. It just won't be until she's completely ready.

ok i read all that u post i totally understan your point of view and i respect ur ideas. remind that britney was very sick with bad ppl behind her i dont know if u see 4 the record to understand this a lil bit more. it is sad when big artist like britney or michael are so good that the ppl is envy them all the time why????? because others are so scared to loose their positions i know that u understand me. britney created amazing videos since baby one more time until circus examples: womanizer, circus, iusa. in radar she try something different and a lot of fans were dissapointed also creates 3 yes is not her best videos but come on understand that britney is not only an artist she also is human: she is a mother of 2 sons, daughter, sister etc also her personal life was in ruine kevin federline or justin timberlake with cry me a river?????' i mean britney is a big survivor but what i feel is that she is very tired as i say to BRITannica britney when she sells tsc and the circus tour she must rest like 2 or maybe 3 years and no more shows please ok a cd with amazing videos but not touring i saw pictures of her and believe me she looks very tired
