I think a lot. I do remember Britney saying something about that in FTR.
Like Paris, Kevin, and Justin? Kevin used Britney to break into the music scene, though he failed. Justin used Britney in his "Cry Me a River" song/video also to gain fame. Afterall, it's that video that took him into stardom, because it was linked to Britney Spears. Not his first single "Like I Love You."
