Like in topic.
I have 2 love seats and backstage tour and I would like to take a d. cam or small hd camcord to take some photos of show. Did ANYone have problems with no photo/ no rec. order from show security? Will they allow me to take cam with me to the show ? and if so, will they allow to take photos or rec some moments of main show?
I have this "problem" with love seats that it's kinda close to security guys so I would like to know about your experience with using d.cam or camcord on curcis show...
I don't wanna lose my camera during show :/
Or maybe it is officialy allowed to use cam on this specific show ? Well I don't think so, but if it is not then idea of gallery of fans photos from show on main page looks kinda funny ;D

In fact,you needn't use the digital cam .You can use mobile phone to take some pictures.

I was thinking about some very small camcord like sony tg1... but looks like taking just d. cam is much safer option.
And if vip entrance security decide that d. cam is not allowed AT ALL, will they just tell me not to use it or take my stuff for the time of the show and let me in ? or maybe will they stop me at the gate and say "go home - your cam, your problem..." ;P
is security order more like "you can't have it", "you can have it but u can't use it", or "if you have it - you have a big problem..." ? Smiling

the digital cam should be fine. However, they frown upon you having an extreme lens size. Some people were not allowed to use them if they were beyond point and shoot digital cams.They will let you in with a d cam that records in hd as long as it falls under a point and shoot and does not bypass in lens size. But They will not let you in with any sort of camcorder whatsoever. So best best is to take your d cam.

digi cam should be fine. hd camcord most likely not. normally depends on the venue.
