Britney Spears The Singles Collection
Rumour has it that Britney Spears will be releasing a second Greatest Hits album in October 2009. Britney recently twittered about recording with Max Martin who is rumoured to be produced a few new tracks for the album. The album will have all of Britney's singles and some new tracks. Is this true, i hope so.

I love Britney Spears' new album The Singles Collection's Digital Deluxe Edition. The standard version doesn't have enough new songs, but the Digital Deluxe (and Ultimate Fan Box) have 8 new songs that are not from any other albums (1 new song that was only on a hard to find EP before now), all 29 of her singles (including the new song 3), 18 remixes and alternate edits, 2 previously released bonus tracks. It's awesome. To me the box set is pricey, but the Digital Deluxe is a great value. The Digital Deluxe is available at online music stores like Itunes, Rhapsody, and Myplay. The Box Set can be purchased at Borders, Target, Barnes and Nobles, Best Buy, Amazon, FYE, and Britney.com. The standard version is available everywhere. I got my deluxe edition on Itunes, and I'm loving it!!

I agree, Hot As Ice is my favorite Britney song. I hope she carries it over to her next studio album and releases it as a single (just like she did with Radar). The album's being released on the tenth of november (2 more days), I'm going to get the Deluxe Edition.

But i am disappointed,because they have not add Hot As Ice to The Singles Collection.I think Hot As Ice is a real high song!Can't understand why others think it is not ONE of her BEST songs!

and just videos not more performance she is tired.
I think that it is way to soon to release another greatest hits.
She has only released two albums since her last Greatest hits compilation. If she releases another Album after "Circus" then it is more reasonable to release a Greaest hits Album..
For now i just think that they are going to re-release the Circus Album with a few new Tracks.

Don't get me wrong, I love any releases. But I think it's just too soon. Yes, it was already soon enough she had Greatest Hits: My Prerogative released but she did have a lot of hits within the 1st Greatest Hits era of her career.
Well this is only speculations and stuff. I did a little research and some sites did happen to dig some info saying it will be released around Oct. 23rd this year.

well britney is most of the time on tour this year and in the gaps between her concerts she is shooting videos .In the other hand you guys talking about new album.Well slow down the temp!First let we permit her to take a vacation,even it is short.I hoping only for two more singles from circus album and if she have a chance to perform on MTV VMA's and thats all for this year,think it's enough.Then in the next year she can make album no matter if it's gratest hits,brand new or something different..

Maybe it a double disk, since its not a "Greatest Hits"; of her past two studio albums, like The Black Circus.
i think that is an excellent idea 4 britney create the sc with all her videos plus behind the scenes and interview with her this rumor is so strong that i think is gonna be true. also the dvd of circus is gonna be out on december yes is a rumor but i think is gonna be true.

I think all she tweeted was "In the Studio with Max" doesnt necesarly mean shes making another greatest hits album she already made a million i dont think its true
