Britney: For The Record on DVD April 7

The ground-breaking documentary that showed fans and critics alike what it's really like to be Britney Spears will be released to DVD on Tuesday, April 7 in the U.S. Britney: For The Record first aired back in November on MTV and chronicles B's "comeback" (even though she never left!) from the 2008 VMAs to the release of her much-anticipated Circus album. The DVD includes rare scenes that didn't air on MTV, as well as six bonus remixes of Britney's "Womanizer" and "Circus" singles. Click here for the hi-res full cover. xx♥

MTV reported that "Britney: For the Record" accumulated the largest average viewers on a regular Sunday with averaged 3.7 million viewers,testking 642-901 per the network.[37][38] Combined with the encore re-run right after the documentary it received 5.6 million viewers overall. The documentary received three times more viewers than various MTV series including their number one hit series The Hills.[37]
In Australia, the primetime broadcast on commercial Network Ten attracted a national audience average of 1.42 million viewers, which equates to just under 7% of the entire country's population. The documentary, as such, became the fourth most watched programme of the week, testking 642-812 easily winning its timeslot, garnering 73% of the complete commercial television viewership.
In the United Kingdom, the broadcast received 391,000 viewers and 1.8% share. Moreover, it also received 4.6% amongst adults 16-34 and 5.1% among women 16-34. Aside from a repeat of Doctor Who on BBC3, "Britney: For the Record" was the highest rated multichannel (cable) show for the night (December 1, 2008).[39]
According Televisa Views in Mexico the documentary scored the number one spot two nights in a row, testking MB2-632 on its debut night the documentary was viewed by more than 2.3 million viewers and on its second night it scored 2 million for a total of 4.3 millions views in the two showings, the documentary beat Desperate Housewives for the Sunday showing in Mexico by 1.2 million.

I will for sure go and buy this i still have it on my DVR on lock! but to own it and add it to my collection will be a blast! This was such an important Interview she needed to be able to shed light on her situation from her point of veiw not how the media portrayed her.

This documentary of Britney was one of the most moveing pice's of footage i have ever seen i cried for nearly half of it and i just wanted to jump through the screen and give her the biggest hug in the world. I will be buying it as soon as it comes out i cant wait!!!
