It was just a dream. A dream within a dream

She was always in style
And she never forgot how to frown; how to smile
Everyday she wished on a star
A star that would never lead her too far

Until one day her star disappeared
She was the only one that feared
She asked for help, but there was no one there
Inside her heart her life wasn’t fair

She had no choice but to keep on fighting
Her dreams disappeared as her future was lighting
Everyday she felt she was bound
All the fans that were screaming; she stopped hearing sound
And all of her secrets were soon to be found

All the flashes from cameras; as she walked down the street
Her inner self was tired and beat
Something in life just wasn’t complete

Then one day she sang a song that made her smile,
She realized that she hadn’t for a while
She told herself that she didn’t come all this way to crash
And no way are her dreams going to go in the trash

Now she is back to shine
Forever and ever and ever and ever.
And no light will stop her from seeing
And no scream will stop her from hearing
Maybe she will never see this poem
But she doesn’t need to because she already lived it.
