Y'all have been bombarding me with questions about Britney's mysterious seventh studio album... but I don't really blame you. I CAN'T WAIT EITHER! Rest assured that an album IS in the process of being recorded, and it's going to be sick. But a release date has not been confirmed or officially announced. As I always say, if it's not on Britney.com or BritneySpears.com, take it with a grain of salt. 
I'll give you new music details as soon as I can. For now... I'm dying to hear your thoughts. What would you like to see/hear on B's next album? xx♥

Firstly, I can see I am late to this conversation, but I agree so far with most of what I've seen:
LESS AUTOTUNE (and by this, I mean using autotune Not as it was intended). The problem with it is that edits out the qualities that make each voice unique. A little is ok- but use it sparingly- like an accent to the song. Like one fan said, we dont really care if she doesnt sing perfect, we are more interested in hte "genuiness" of the voice. Autotune is like candy floss; too much becomes sickening. ok, next, VARIETY is always good: Both VOCAL(which Brit already does) and MELODY. I think Brit is wise to collaborate with lots of diff people and Danja & Hilson do seem to bring a little extra. Urban-ness (I think) suits her well: that tongue& cheek type of thing. Ultimately, at the end of the day, if the song is CATCHY, has nice MUSICALITY, have some RhYTHMIC VARIATION( ex> circus), clever lyrics, OR those that relay a personal message, Brit fans will respond.
Lastly REMIXES: I even got my boyfriend(who previously laughed at me for liking her) into her music, or more specifically the remixes. So, I dont really care if the remixes are on the "proper" album or come after, but they are usually my favorite versions(b/c I do sports to them)Translation: upbeat and dance-y. On a side note, I have noticed that a slow song song sometimes make for the best dance remixes (ex. Everytime), though Circus has its fair share of great remixes too. Though, I really doubt I am suggesting anything new here, thanks for reading (if anyone still is LOL!)

i really think the new album should have a more personal side of britney. i want the album to be whatever britney wants it to be. I would love to see that she wrote or co-wrote more of the songs. also, LESS AUTO TUNE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! she has a beautiful voice, let the world hear it.
she should also promote the new album more *cough* VMA PERFORMANCE *cough*.
p.s. a FIERCE cover wouldnt hurt. not a "cute one" aka circus.
I wanna hear some meaningful lyrics
I love "3" and all, but I think Britney needs some songs that would bring out her voice. I don't want another "Blackout" personally. I like "Break The Ice", "Gimme More", and "Piece of Me" , but the rest wasn't her best. "Stronger", "Shattered Glass", "Toxic", and a 2 REALLY good ones, "My Baby" and "Someday (I Will Understand) are the best ones. I love a BUNCH others, but I like these best. I wanna here her real voice. Please don't cover it up! :'( I LOVE it!
New Album-
I think Britney should limit the amount of producers she should work with on the next album. I think Danja gets the best vocals from Britney in the last 2 albums and they have really catchy hooks together. And also he did Sober for Pink and this is less r'n'b than his britney tunes and they couyld do something along those lines for a ballad or slow song. Bloodshy and Avant have made some of her best dance tunes and they don't make good songs for anyone else so she should work with them too.
By working with only 2 producers the album will have a mose organic and cohesive sound, rather than sounding like a random mismatch of songs (although songs on circus are good the albums hard to listen to all the way through as most of them don't belong on one album together). Also she should spend some time in the studio with the producers so they all get to know eachother well and can make songs that Britney can relate to and enjoy performing LIVE on her next tour

THE OLD BRITNEY BACK WITH HER (BABY ONE MORE TIME) V-O-I-C-E
We all wanna listen to Britney's REAL VOCALS. Her voice has changed over the years... but we wanna listen to her... we don't realy care if she sounds better or worst... we just feel emotions when she opens her mouth to sing... that's what it is about: SINGING LIVE and EMOTION PEOPLE!!
New producers and composers... ERIC FOSTER WHITE!!!! He wrote good songs for her vocal abilities.
We like how Britney sounds in songs like Let Go... that leftover from Blackout. Her voice sounds broken but emotional at the same time, and we like it that way.
Don't be afraid to show her real voice... we are gonna be with her no matter what. If she sings good, bad... we don't really care, she is Britney.
But PLEASE: No more robot voice, auto-tune voice, arranged voice, or backup singers singing like she does...

New classics, vocal work, topic variety
I've been a fan of Britney's since ...Baby One More Time, and this is what I'd love to see from her.
Britney needs more classic songs. Songs that will stand the test of time. "Baby One More Time" is considered one of the biggest pop songs ever. It's a classic. How many more songs does Britney have will be so remembered or played on radio for years to come? Artists like Madonna, Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson, Whitney Houston, Gloria Estefan, etc all have classic songs that have played on the radio for decades. Britney needs to have songs that are popular, memorable, and loved to make her an artist on an even higher level. Songs that will be current but will still survive the times. Epic pop indeed.
Britney DOES have decent vocal ability. However, on more recent albums, it seems vocals have been even less of a priority. She is great with dance music (Blackout was a great, fun album), but she also has vocal ability, and it's time to put more of an emphasis on it. It's really a shame most people (the general public) don't think she has any decent vocal ability whatsoever, and it needs to be addressed. Work to bring out the best of Britney's vocal abilities on this next album. Work on using the range that works best for her. She is stronger in the lower register. Work on singing live for some performances. She's done fine before, and I believe she can do so again. She hasn't worked with Eric Foster White since the first album, I don't think. He produced and co-wrote some of the songs with the best vocals Britney's done. I think he knows what she is capable of vocally. I'd be interested in him working with her again.
Britney has a sexy image. Yes, it is a part of her. But recently, most of her songs are about sex or have sexual connotations. It seems like it's increasing more and more as the years go on. Britney has sang about more things in the past. Please give her some topic variety. She doesn't have to be one note. It makes things kind of boring and doesn't provide for growth. It's getting overdone for her. Please let's not skimp on ballads. While I don't think Britney should ever have a ballad heavy album, having two or three nice ballads from her is a great thing, IMO. Songs like "From The Bottom Of My Broken Heart," "Everytime," "Where Are You Now," "Out From Under," and "Shadow" added something different to her albums and showcased vocal strength. Some of my favorite Britney songs are her ballads and slower songs.
And of course, I hope the music will be something Britney herself will have much input into and really enjoy. She has to be motivated in order to really sell what she's singing. Please take the time to make this an amazing album. Experiment with lots of sounds and songs and pick what is great quality music.
Lastly, but not least, Britney needs to have some songs that will be an escape of sorts from the problems in everyday life. One thing that has been constant in Britney's music has been the escape factor. Feel good music. I think there is room for her to make more mature music with different topics AND still have some feel good music.

I have been a fan of britney since birth and i really love her songs but i have never seen her other side. You know like Britney wearing cargo pants and hang loose shirts and and the swagger type of her.And also with less sexy outfits and more cool dance moves.I would really love to see her boyish side.Hope you read this....

Britney has the greatest music out there. its catchy,fun but on this next album i really really really want there to be much less auto tune. I dont want a Blackout 2.0 where most of the songs are auto tunes. It was a great album but 10 of 12 songs either had a lot or some auto tune. I don't want that on ALL the songs like 3 does have auto tune but you can still hear her real voice. thats fine but i don't want an album where each song has a different robot voice. but one thing i know is this new album WILL be amazing as all of her albums are

Blackout is my favorite album. I love all the urban beats and sounds in it. Work with Danja alot in this album. You should work with Danja, David Guetta, and DEFINATLEY the AMAZING Max Martin. Bring back some old timers and have a song written by
Max Martin/Rami (Oops!, Overprotected, Stronger etc.) Have some Kid-Friendly songs, no more 3 and If U Seek Amy. That way you'll pick up the younger fans. Have at least 2 Beautiful ballads (at least one as a single AND written by YOU like Someday) Produced by Guy Sigsworth. Do a collaboration with Lady GaGa, And RELEASE it has the second single or something. And Make This A BIG ALBUM! Release like 8 Singles! I Know U Can Handle That Brit! That's what I would like to see in the new album, And DON'T forget:

Just work with the right producers/songwriters, and this album is probably gonna be AMAZING<3

i would love it if she did the music that made her famous like baby one more time or crazy but more modernized and grown up and i want her to keep doing the blackout/in the zone type of music. also NO AUTOTUNE PLEASE! i wanna hear her pretty, beautiful voice. oh and i want music that shows off her voice and is sorta like the 90's britney but 2010 version of it.

I think Birtney's music is rather fantastic...if there is one sub-song that sticks out to me from Circus is would have to be Shattered Glass...when Britney sings about cheating or a man doing the wrong, or being over the hurt it's just soooooo powerful...I think a powerful debut single for Britney's seventh album would need to a "Stronger" I think that kind of song of Brit's is well overdue...
I think Britney needs a song with a sick beat that isn't over "synthesized" a little is ok cause most music is in that direction now anyways...but we get a chance for Britney to show off a little...when she sings over the chorus and does her embellishments like from the "Britney" album that's really sick!
Lastly, I'd love for Britney to have a song with the "choir" background she had in Crazy, and Baby One More Time...it would give us a chance to get the best of both worlds again! And maybe even get a bit of a symphony orchestra like from Toxic!
So my recommendation...a kick-butt I don't need you song (aka Stronger)...still have the sick dance beats of Circus/Blackout era...but combined with the vocal range and diversity back from Oops...I Did It Again/Britney era...
That there would be the ultimate album! It'd have every piece needed!

I didn't mind Britney not doing any collaboration with any artist (well,apart from Madonna and the ying sth twins).But now,I think it's about time Britney changed things up.
First of all,I do NOT want want a Britney-GaGa or Britney-Beyonce collaboration

I think SonyBMG is asking the wrong person! I want to hear less from management and more from Britney the artist. They've successfully micromanaged the f*** out of her career, so much so, that artists with a creative, independent spirit are catching up and redefining industry standards.
The next album shouldn't focus more on a glitzy theme than the music itself, something "Circus" is terribly guilty of. Where's the substance? Where's the meaning? "Mmm Papi" just didn't cut it for me.
Is this album being rushed because of the conservator's hidden agenda? The faster these albums come out, the more money they're guaranteed through the duration of the conservatorship which, let's face it, can't last forever; if she can put out two albums in two years should she be deemed incompetent enough to remain under a conservatorship? Even Judge Reva Goetz isn't that foolish.
Is Britney at a point in her life when she can closely focus on an album? or have the mandatory court meetings, permanent custody arrangements, the lost sense of freedom through the conservatorship and the stresses of stardom caused Britney to turn a cold shoulder to her work?
Is this something Britney pushed to do? Or was this pushed on her? Has she given up?
No one but Britney can answer that, and sadly, she's yet to have a genuine outreach of support or platform to do so.
So, to answer your question SonyBMG, I want an album that Britney is passionate about, co-wrote on and actively contributed to. An album that fans can relate to, party to, cry to, dance to and live through.
Just do whatever u want to.

You're a beautiful woman and you have to remember that all the time! The magazines etc, don't know you and don't care abou you. You were going through a tough moment in your life and they never gave you a break! I was so mad at the whole world because of its "inhumanity"! I wanted you to know that I LOVE you and that you're a GREAT part of my life!
Don't listen to these comments saying that you're fat and that you should do a duet with Justin. If you're not friends with him, don't even consider this possibility.
I saw a lot of comments saying that you should sound more like Lady Gaga and I completely disagree! You have YOUR music, and its a lot diferent than hers! I think you should continue with your style of music, the POP music.
I belive that the one thing you should change is your sex appeal. Stop trying to be SO sexy all the time, showing your body, dancing in a very dirty way and talking about sex in your songs! You don't need to do these stuff to have success with your Cd. You can "win" people with your charisma, with your smile, with deep songs. And another reason to stop being a "sex fanatic": your a mom now, you have the most beautiful babies in the hole world and I belive tha you owe them this.
