Britney fans have banded together to bring one of the greatest albums of all time back into the spotlight.* Blackout is Britney's fifth studio album and was released on October 30, 2007. The album brought about unforgettable hits "Gimme More," "Piece of Me," "Break the Ice," and "Radar." Blackout is Britney's only studio album which has yet to be certified platinum by the RIAA. Britney fans and music lovers alike are encouraged to purchase Blackout this weekend (September 25-27) to help increase album sales and enlighten the general public on this truly amazing album.

im thinkin abt gettin an extra copy but i truly have supported BS during the BLACKOUT era,i rushed to the music store the day it was released.my god how time flies its been almost 2 yrs now seems like just ystrdat..i was crazy abt gimme more that time til now this has been the BS album that i kept playin on my IPOD cant get enough.a lot better than CIRCUS!! the album's mostly about obsessing someone which i can so relate coz im obsessed with some guy..start to finish this album is filler-free (unlike circus)..hope those who didnt get em copies would buy one guaranteed not to disappoint!!!

Not all is served for all to understand everything. Some has to be mysterious to have our legend Miss. B. having an interesting product for years to listen to. The question about what has "3" got to do with secrets, but it is a production secret from Ms. Britney. We will all have to buy and listen when released. Ms. Britney sells world wide, also where you are in South America and the way Ms. Britney express and pronounce using slang and local dialects, accents etc. even sound animation in studio makes it hard to get or capture for all hearing, who or what "3" is if it is a "single" person. You should also know by now words in "...." means double meaning or expressed to understand in two or more meanings, i.e. the word "single" can be figure "1" or a CD single or a person who is single. It is complicated and to this I must ad not all are having a music hearing skill to separate or compensate or to follow all movements in sounds in song. This could be the reason why the most don't get mush here. Having an understanding and secrets created expectations what makes more interest in the music to link to a story or fantasy... A help about Ms. Britney singing my name "Peter" ("Pedro" in Spanish/Latin) in track "Break the Ice" is to understand Grammatik’s and a help is what is not said. All can hear "[Pe]" that excludes all other names than staring with [Pe] expressed, then all hear "[t]" and exhale is "[erh]" when separated all in together and you get [Peter, Peter]. To make it easy Pete is in English nick name for Peter from the first two sounds. In track "Get Naked", 1 word in track is "Peter" African American dialect expressed and Ms. Britney later sings, she wants to take it of "playing" naked, then the story can be wish for having children with Peter in not using condom. And yes I have told Ms. Britney I would like to make her mother to our children before the song was written. Now this could be a respond or what LAPD having a copy of such letter to pass on...

i love every single song of this album!!!it's my favourite!!!!!i cant stop listening to it for about 2 years.....circus is adorable,but i think that the thing is that blackout had a theme:sex, and dirty dance....and i just cant stop listening to piece of me,gimme more,freakshow,break he ice,hot as ice,get back,everybody and all those amaizing songs.....so i ll definatelly buy one for my girlfriend......i already have 3...!!!!!

i dont think those are the lyrics cuz britney is catholic herself and i know those arent them britney wouldnt do that. Britney thanks god in ALL of her thank you's in her albums (with the excpetion if she didnt write one). someone created those lyrics just to cause controversy the end. Britney and jive are too smart to release that. i also know those arent the lyrics is cuz the line "Talk about dynamite, but I'm the one blowing up (I keep gettin' better)" Dynamite and keeps gettin better are Christina aguilera songs talking about blowing up like dynamite and getting better so X-tina could easily sue. so again those are not the lyrics.

These lyrics are blasphemous and offensive to Catholics around the world. Jive I'm sure is unaware that in fact most of Britney's fans are Catholic. I went to see her show, and while it was raunchy, that does not make a difference because is is exactly that, a SHOW, she is acting and putting on a show, that is very entertaining in my opinion. This album makes me wanna dance all the time with tracks like Freakshow, Hot as Ice, Get Naked and Gimme More. This is defenetly the best, don't listen to any negative review from Blackout, they don't know what their talking about.
It would of been the best album ever with more promotion and singles.

Ive already bought the Album 4 times, otherwise i would totally buy it again! But for everybody out there who only has 1 copy, you really need to get another copy. Whether its to display in your already massive Britney collection, or to share the beauty of Britneys BEST f#@ing cd with a friend or relative. This cd should have been number 1, and you all need to REMEMBER, that is WOULD have been number 1 if Billboard didnt change the rules at the last minute and gave it to The Eagles, Their album was sold EXCLUSIVELY in walmart, meaning it was disqualified from being on the billboard charts, however, the same week Blackout came out billboard changed the rules making the Eagles #1, which is SO unfair to Britney. Lets make it platinum b****ez!

I am always in the midst of something, recently moved and am settling in, when an event (Blackout) or a new album comes out by Britney. The reviews in the posts are interesting, and I can attest to not having heard much about the album when it was released. I have looked at MTV (and 2, and even VH1) late at night, usually, and saw one of her videos only once (and that was only a portion of it) in the past few years. So here is to a productive weekend.
BTW, dance jam is allowing finalist voting now through Oct. 1. (No, I'm not one of those.)

I was composing something and every time is the same. Blackout means a lot to me and I cannot do without. "3" under the shower, still "BLACKOUT" is all I wanna always have close to me and keep forever more. About using names dear and beloved editor reading now: 1. They in their propaganda uses my rare and protected family and brand name and 2. from their act I can legally use their names and organizations or positions. What I really need is an invitation date for dating the editor and have things going to BLACKOUT's... Don't make me sweat to mush, I feel pain without "BLACKOUT" and your "showers"... Good evening and now you know I was up and having some fun with you dear editor...
Underrated Album
Blackout is a massively underrated album. And it's Britneys BEST album to date.
Every song is amazing (with the exception of Why Should I Be Sad which just felt out of place). Absolute sham that TOY SOLDIER and OOH OOH BABY were never released as singles... Toy Soldier is without a doubt the *BEST* song she's ever recorded...
Was actually a little bit disapointing that she followed Blackout with Circus. All the Circus songs feel a lot more mainstream pop and less risque electro club tracks... So here's hoping 3 (and any future releases) are more in the style of Blackout!

i already ahve 2 copies of it i bought the physical CD and the itunes bonus track version with get back everybody, gimme more remix and video on october 30th 2007. so i wont be buying it this weekend and all my firends who love britney already have it. even thought it didnt go platnuim REAL Britney fans still bought it even during Britney's rock bottom days. So even though the album didnt do as well as her previous albums and circus it is still considered a classic with real britney fans and in the end thats all that matters.

If I purchase Blackout, that will be the 5th time I've bought it.. I bought it twice the day it came out (once at a store, and the iTunes deluxe edition). Then again about a month after, (download card at FYE). And another just a couple of months ago for the hell of it lol
Truly would make an awesome gift though.. But everyone I know already has it. Hmm.. I wonder why it didn't sell so well? Makes no sense. Oh well, I know it's awesome, her fans know it's awesome, and I'm sure this weekend we'll all be able to prove just how awesome it is

The only reason this amazing album didn't go platinum is because some of her so called fans turned their backs on her when she was going through her hard time, and didn't buy the album, which was bad for them because I believe this was her best album so far in her career!
This was an amazing cd, but the timeing of when it came out wasn't the best. I so bought this album the day it came out, I remembered being so mad when the store didn't have it out on the shelfs yet ( okay so it was 7 in the morning but still LOL!)!
I remember listening to this in the car and loving every song!
Even though I listen to these songs almost everyday, I'm so going to buy it and pretend it was the first time again. To Remember how AMAZING it felt to know that Britney was back b****es LOL!!!!!!
and it's not about money, it's about getting to platinum, to show how powerful britney fans are! lol if you can't buy or don't want to, thats okay I bet, just listen to your blackout album all weekend long, pump it from your car, your bedroom, your ipod, when your working out or just sitting on the couch, just to show how much you love that album.
