Seriously, everything Britney touches turns to gold. Other artists don't stand a chance, like, ever. Poor things. Not surprisingly, Britney's "Womanizer" won Fuse TV's Best Video of 2008, taking more than 5 million votes and beating out those pop-punk emo whiners Paramore. Go Brit!
Our girl's also up for a few Virgin Media Music Awards (thanks for the email reminders about it, guys!), so get your vote on, please. She's up for the following and is currently in the lead (yay!) unless otherwise stated:
Best Album: Circus
Best Track: Womanizer
Best International Act: Britney Spears (Madonna's winning so far... VOTE!)
Legend of the Year: Britney Spears (Paul McCartney's in the lead?! VOTE!)
Best Comeback: Britney Spears (VOTE... even though we hate that word. Mariah is winning and really should go back to wherever she came from.)

EXCELLENT TOPIC: all conflicted between our QUEEN ( i, for one, fess up that i irrationally adore Britney ) and the all-to-rare worthy singer or performer. 1) in most cases, Britney Spears BENEFITS by compare with the others, regardless of your criteria or metric, 2) without a robust music/entertainment industry even Britneys fan base would errode away eventually. ENJOY YOUR GUILTY TREASURES!!! Maybe the title should have been "Baby It Hurts So Good!".
