Britney Nominated for 7 Video Music Awards

Yeah, yeah, this is probably old news to hardcore B fans, but I'm just covering my bases here, k? Our girl Britney's been nominated for SEVEN MTV Video Music Awards! "Womanizer" is up for Video of the Year and Best Pop Video, while "Circus" is up for Best Art Direction, Best Choreography, Best Cinematography, Best Direction and Best Editing.

Now it's up to us to get our VOTE on make sure B wins Video of the Year and Best Pop Video. In order to vote, you must first sign up for the MTV Community (don't cry y'all, it's free... I already signed up, so it's safe.)

To see if B will top last year's sweep of three Moonmen, tune in to the Video Music Awards Sunday, September 13 at 9pm ET on MTV... when it airs LIVE from New York City! OK, now what are you still doing here? Go VOTE!!! xx♥

Um, all Rolling Stone confirmed is that she will be appearing on stage at the VMA's and that she's nominated for 7 awards.. It doesn't say anywhere in that article that she will be performing. Admiring Britney over the last 10 years has been a pleasure. She is the number one female performer of the decade, and her loyal fans will stick with her forever.

She is our Beatles or Elvis. She will simply be an icon forever.

But, the younger kids want Jonas & Miley, and many of the club kids will side with Gaga. It's ok that Britney wins the Ultimate Choice Award; it's kinda like a Hall of Fame in teen music honor. I don't expect her to appeal to 14 year olds forever.

Let's all just continue to be supportive of our #1 girl now and forever.
