Team Britney LA wanted me to remind everyone about the Britney Spears Support Event tomorrow. Here's all the info:

Tomorrow, Saturday November 10, 2007, is the Britney Spears Support Event. Fans from across California and several other states such as Arizona will be gathering around Britney Spears Star on Hollywood and Highland to protest the negative light the media has been portraying Britney. We will also be showing our love and support to Miss Britney Spears. So come on down and show Team Britney Los Angeles your support. The event will include two acoustic performances by recording artists Brad Kish and Erin White. They will be rockin' to Britney Spears tunes, the old and the new. This all begins at 5:00 p.m. at the Britney Spears Star on Hollywood Blvd. Remember to bring signs portraying the message you would like to send out to the public.

Wazzup Britneyites!

When I heard about BLACKOUT in 2007, BEFORE it even had a name, my bank account and my iTunes account made sure I had everything else BEFORE Blackout arrived to complete the collection.

But as the date became final, it was obvious that simply buying the album on pre-order was not what Britney needed.

That's when I decided I would only buy the album if she's doing autographs somewhere.

That's how I bought my Rebecca St. James albums "Transform" and "God" and she was gracious enough to sign all 5 discs cause my friends had to boogie, I was never so happy to own my own ride, it meant a world of difference for us.

It's been almost a year since BLACKOUT graced the world with it's presence but we all know too well, that Britney, The Warrior Queen that she is, is still fighting the good fight, I tell ya she is a Lover's Fighter and I love her for it.

All of her songs are so personal, you could easily make the mistake that she is talking to you, how awesome is that?

So now that my LLC will be in Troy, NY (any Rensselaer aka RPI fans in the house?) I wanna make 2009 a banner year in Miami.

So starting with the first album release date, RemixCity will be organizing online and offline events to mark every release date of every album, every single, every EP, every everything in ONE year.

Starting with 2009 seems a bit fitting, she's done the work so now she gets the Love.

I just read the awesome soundoff for 2008 and I recognized all the aliases 'cause I'm sure we all linked via myspace in 2007.

I'm pretty sure I'll need every Britney fan to help on this so if you run a Britney fansite, add me here and add kairy@yahoo.com and kairy@remixcity.net to your email lists.

I do freelance consulting work so time is MONEY, but if you add me to your email lists, it makes the programming even easier.

Shout out to Gerard for sending that first message about Britney Team LA, you know that spot on the RemixCity myspace is permanent, right?

The RemixCity myspace Top 40 is being rejiggered in 2009 and Britney, obviously the most played artist (see my iLike profile) is somehow missing and that's something I intend to remedy (yea I stole that from Braveheart).

You know, when you judge others you are reflecting your own insecurities onto them. When you decide that you "hate" somebody for their behaviour or supposed personality traits, it's because you're transferring your own feeling about yourself onto them.

My theory is that America feels let down by Britney. They wanted her to be this sweet symbol of a perfect society that really doesn't exist. Now it's being exposed that she is a human being, with human characteristics and failings, she's being hailed as the devil incarnate.

The real truth is, the girl hasn't actually done anything wrong. What you see on this site isn't the real Britney, what you read in gossip columns isn't a true reflection of her character or behaviours.

It's just a bunch of people, insecure about their own failings that choose to reflect them onto her.

For example...

Perez consistently refers to Britney as "Unfitney", when in reality Perez is actually obese, Britney's a healthy weight.

Perez says that Britney's an attention whore, yet he pursues fame fervently, Britney already has it.

Perez says that Britney is no longer wanted in her community, LA, yet in reality his own community (the gay community) has rejected him.

Perez is pushing Britney for a breakdown. Is this really his own cry for help?

I think it's always important, when you decide to judge somebody else, to look at yourself first.

What's so wrong with wanting to support somebody?
