True, the marriage ceremony is important, even if it is not the "start" of the marriage, but for "sin to be the new in" seeing disregard for the marriage is true to the song. I like the idea of the wedding equalling a new birth, as represented by the Sun, interesting concept. Could potential problems be represented by an eclipse? Every time some third is in view the Sun begins to blot out? Clouds would work too. Or it shifts when the third is with one of the main two ("not only you and me" lyric). Sly smiles, longing glances? Maybe even a look of jealousy? Could a cloud be the face of a third - a furious third?
The song is full of symbolism even without the video. The DJ could be a DJ at the reception, couldn't it? If the dance floor is the wedding reception, one or more could be sulking in silence (mad that the wedding happened?) or something like that. That would be a long time though.

And yes, most want that single most important person in their lives, but the reasons for not attaining that is iffy. Some could be going through hard times, and some third party consoles. Others want what someone else has. Still others don't like that someone has that someone special. And sometimes, it is just because one of the party of the marriage wanted something, but not the love. Sometimes, the person was angry and met someone that did not make them angry, but they did not fall out of love with an earlier one. Sometimes it is hard to see what went wrong.

I thank you for liking my music. (TerryKidd was a nickname that a coach of a CYO baseball team gave me the one year I played it. When this spelling isn't available, I tend to alter it, or accept the choice given - ie: TerryKid - but I don't think I have any current ids using alternate spellings. I have another nickname that friends from High School gave me for when I want to use something else instead.) I still need to sing some of the lyrics, I think, after I finish writing them. Mostly I have choruses without stanzas.

I like your long songs. I love your feelings and ideas being creative. The music will be heard and danced to in places like radio station, so I suggest to have a DJ and on air sign, people walking and cue to dance palace, circle floor, your circle logo with lyrics in leaving your head in spirit i.e. "1,2,3, and chorus" could make people start singing along, the end could be your walk out of the dance place and the scene shifts to your walk up the church floor flower leaves falling and walking on in your own wedding, no cross/for death in church but circle/star/The Sun for life/birth symbolic over the alter etc. The kiss after the ceremony is a spiritual ghost event and all is dream again. The purpose in this is many/most go to town to find the dream of their life and to find one to "Mary"... Make it strong in symbolic and repetitions and fans and new fans will never forget you or forget your dream work. Let's party at "3" and after. I love your long songs. Keep writing Terry Kid. When does a "marriage" actually take place, well the very few, like from Britney's lyrics, to find the one and only by heart and soul is very rare and have it mutual, and to some it is a feeling meeting and click in the light, but having the one and only from dreams and writing is one of a kind in a life time even beyond. A spirits/ghosts entering the scene on the dance floor from Britney reaching out towards the viewers like the viewer is entering Britney's floor/state and interact with Her. You can use multiple faces on one spirit/Bee, a spy and Peter by face. This could make video "3" complete according to real life and lyrics. To relate to CD cover Miss B. could multiply spiritually and dance with each "3"-spirits Bee and Best Spy and Peter/3P in lyric.

And don't forget the name of the single is "Three"/ "3" not just a 3, but double meaning. Officially there are three writers of the song including Max Martin and Britney Spears. Britney Spears don't have to write her name into a song in composing and or lyrics, she is the product/brand/interpreter/contractor/combinator/coordinator/performer herself. Legally all is under her and/or Label as contract holder and everybody else is under-suppliers in sound engineering. They are all doing a great job and thanks. World class product!!!

...that can truly describe this song.. Quite possibly a glimpse of what's to come, this song contains all the factors necessary for success. It's sexy, fun, catchy, and everything Britney's music represents. This is something I can see people listening to in the car on the way to work, and while partying it up in a club. Not only is the music just ridiculously catchy, but the lyrics are filled with controversy and sensuality that only our Britney knows how to deliver. And when she delivers, all hell breaks loose. The kind of chaos that blew everyone else out of the water 10 years ago seems to be making a swift comeback, and promising more to come. This single is the perfect way to mark Queen B's 10 year reign, and the beginning of a new era for her to keep her crown and continue making the music industry something to appreciate.

That being said, thank you BRITannica for providing this awesome blog !! Without it, I wouldn't have my daily Britney fix (Yes, I am an addict.), and I probably wouldn't have known about this awesome single either

Sorry for teasing Best spy, didn't mean to mess up your happy mood. That is something that I know about all too well. Hope the next is even better for you.

The song inspired me to write a little bit more of an essay that I have been writing (for about a month now). Definitions amaze me, if only because we have to understand in order to define. Yet scholars do not seem to have defined or even tried to satisfactorily. You would think things not understood would be investigated, wouldn't you? But apparently things said were waved off as if they weren't important at all. But I can't complain about that even, not really. If they understood they probably would have edited "the book."

I really can't stop listening to this song. Its just so addicting, and a total dance song. I absolutely love it!!!
