BLACKOUT is getting super reviews across the board -- and now, the country's music bible, aka. Rolling Stone magazine, has awarded the new album 3-and-a-half stars! The rag seems particularly pleased by Britney's willingness to get up close and personal: "What's notable is that she's voice[ing] real thoughts about her life... stubbornly holding on to her freakness." You go with your ballsy self Brit Brit -- and keep getting your Freakshow on... we love it!

Normally I really don't like to read what the press has to say about Britney, but everything out this week has been GOLDEN!

From the Associated Press: "BLACKOUT, her first studio album in four years, is not only a very good album, it's her best work ever -- a triumph, with not a bad song to be found on the 12 tracks."
