I just love this remake of the Cher song, I think they could have made a great video to this poppy lyrical tune... I would choose any other tracks from this album as well b/c I think it is a great one. My second choice would have been "Soda Pop".....

Oooohhh...I love the first album. One of my favorite tracks on it is Thinkin' About You. It's sooooo underrated and amazing! It definately could have done well as a single back in the day
I love all the songs on her debut album, but I suppose my top choice for a final single (or should have been a single actually) would be I Will Be There. Although I don't know what to say on Deep In My Heart. That's really good, but perhaps as a B-Side to I Will Be There or I Will Still Love You.

I never thought I'd see the day when Autumn Goodbye was even recognized. I loved it when I first got the single before the ..Baby One More Time album was released. I wrote her as an elementary schooler to tell her she should make a music video for it! I WILL BE THERE is good, too. But mainly I like Thinkin About You & AUTUMN GOODBYE.
I realize I'm way older than most B fans, but The Beat Goes On was an iconic song from the sixties, and when Britney dressed up like Cher for an ABC special it was like a passing of the torch, (kind of like when she sang Madonna's Open Your Heart in Crossroads). We had a legend in the making paying tribute to a former legend.
