I think was a great album. There wasn't as much Britney Britney on it. This was more darker...more sexier. I know Brit really worked hard on this album. She was goin' through so much but she still cared about her fans so she squeezed in a FANTASTIC album! woulda made a great tour alone...but I'm glad she's including it in the Circus tour. Saw the show live in Jersey....oh man, Britney was great!

NOT MY FAVORITE
I have to addmit that this is not my favorite album but still it's an amazing CD, of course Piece of me rocks, it's an awesome song and the video it's just hot, I mean, Britney won every award in the MTV Video Music Awards with this song. I also love FREAKSHOW and GET NAKED, they're both very danceable songs, Gimme More it's good but I'm not crazy about that song. I know this album was released during Britney's bad period but she is always amazing, as a matter of fact, this was very acclaimed by the critics because it shows a different side of Britney, a darkest one.

I like..
..this album. But I must say that I was surprised in both a good and a bad way. Well, in a very good way, because it was like something new and I really liked it. And in a bad way, because it was somehow very, mhhh.., instrumental. And to me, it's like the darkest album which she has ever made. Of course, she also released it in her "bad period" which some people would call it. I like this album and I listen to it really often but I would somehow still call it Britney's "black album", because it reminds me of "that time", you know... Plus it also reminds me of parts of my personal life which were very hard, but that doesn't have anything to do with Britney, of course. ( ;

In My Opinion...
We all know that the year of 2007 wasn't the best year for Britney Spears. The year was filled with things such as the 2007 VMA's, in which some people thought would end her career. After her performance, Blackout was released, along with it's first single "Gimme More"
The album generally recieved mixed reviews. Some thought it was Britney's worst, some thought it was her best. I am one of the people that feel it was her best. Yes, it is even better than Circus in my opinion.
From the volgour opening of the album, down to the last note of "Why Should I Be Sad", the album definatly delivers.
Britney was never gone in order to have a comeback, but if she was gone, then i would definatly consider this her comeback album. It's filled with many dance beats, great lyrics, and promiscuous photos on the inside photo booklet. What do all of these signs mean? Simple, they mean Britney is back on top.
There is only one small glitch in this album, and that is it's lack to provide a ballad. I am a big fan of songs such as "Gimme More", "Piece Of Me", "Break The Ice", and songs like that, i feel that in order to sustain a good comeback she should have showed off her amazing singing talents.
Sure she may say "b****" and "a**" in the album, but there is nothing wrong with that. It's no different than the rap music that's topping the charts at the moment.
But all in all, Blackout is definatly a good album, and one you must add to your collection the moment you get the chance (If you haven't already!)

I had graduated high school and was worried about brit.. I kept up w/ the news and send her my prayers. I was super excited when i heard this album was coming out.
I missed Brit
I'm glad to see that thru it all she managed to find her strength and heal.
People would ask me "how could u be her fan after 'this' or 'that'" I'd just tell'em would u disown a friend when they went downhill? No.. you would support them and be there for them thru good or bad!
