..Years ago ,about 2001 or 2002 in New Orleans one night while waiting on a bus,Britney Spears and two of her friends Toni and another Britney pulled up at a red light on Magazine and State St. and offered me a lift. I was waiting at the red light and had just missed my bus.I was tired and somewhat upset that I had missed it when a dark color SUV stopped at the light.On the passenger side of the driver , this blonde(Ms Spears)rolled down the window and inquired how sad and disappointed I looked. I knew her face was familiar but could not place it. Well, I explain that I had just missed my buss and was disappointed in that I would have to wait about another hour or so....Thats when she offered me a ride to Louisiana Ave. When I got in the SUV I thanked them and told them that it's not often strangers would want to give anyone a lift. Ms Spears stated and I'll never forget "YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT GOD HAS IN STORE FOR YOU". At that all three introduced themselves to me. I think Toni was the driver and she had short brown hair ...the other Britney had blonde hair and we all know Ms Spears has blonde hair. Well we all talked and Ms Spears ask what type of work I did and I told her I work in a hospital with children. She was so trilled about that and said I was a special person to do that.She also said I was wise due to my gray hair. We all talk some ,laughing and I told them where they can drop me off. The other Britney ask Ms Spears to take a picture of me and I did in the back seat.....Ms Spears taking the pic of me and her friend. I joked about something and made them all laugh and thats when they invited me to join them to a club on Magazine St. called "THE BALCONY"...Well foolish me decline because I had to work the next day, but if I had known at that time it was Britney Spears I would have gone in a heartbeat. Well, we came to my stop and I thank them again and I gave each a hug and they hug me and a kiss on my jaw and they were on there way.Three days later while at work I picked up a magazine and see this same women ....and she had those same thin hoop type ear rings on....I LIKE TO FELL ON THE FLOOR.....my co-workers thought I was having a stroke....I kept yelling that's her, that's her....and then explin what happened. I call my mother and she say that Ms Spears was filming a video in New Orleans and it minght have be her....I NEVER DID WRITE AND THANK HER BECAUSE I FIGURED SHE WOULD NEVER GET THE LETTER ANYWAY. It's been years and I was so hurt when she was going through al her troubles it brought tears to me...I was afraid for this kind inside and outside beautiful woman. I was browsing just now and this site pop up....I feel maybe this was meant to be and now is my opportunity to thank her.and here it is......WELL, I WANT TO THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR WHAT YOU AND YOUR FRIENDS DID FOR ME BY GIVING ME A LIFT. IT MEANT SO MUCH AND I TRUELY APPRECIATE IT. I AM SO HAPPY THINGS ARE BETTER FOR YOU AND WISH YOU WELL....MS SPEARS, JUST BE YOU AND DON'T TRY TO BE A NEW MADONNA OR ANYONE ELSE AND YOU WILLTOUCH THE SKY.
