Blackout Real Content/JIVE Secret

No votes yet

Blackout was produced for the new Britney and her new "Trash" image.
Jive records were so sad about Britney's behaviour they didn't stop its release because of benefits. They've launched it, but they were scared...

If you listen to "Blackout" carefully you'll find all of Britney's troubles and Black Ideas she's been through. So Jive was trying to hide all about that stuff and making say to the clutch (producers of Radar..) "we wrote a song for the good Britney, not for the bad but the Britney that we love"... JIVE was trying to change her image for her next come back. LIKE THEY WANTED HER TO BE.

Radar for exemple reminds of Britney losing control, shaving her head and watching at the camera..."I got my Eye on you... And I can't let you get away!
Gimme more reminds of her when she attacks Paparrazzi with her umbrella "I see you, And I just wanna dance with you... laught... The music is the way she is drunk and druged. It'scrazy!
Get NAKED is BLACK : the rythm is strange and Dangerous
Freakshow is Freaky! TOY SOLDIER is so damn BAD just listen to it!
Piece of me, reminds of her vagina...
The destruction has stopped now, and so Blackout
and I'm wondering what's coming after Britney b****!???

Agree that 'Blackout' musics are multi-dimensional in character but don't buy into all the negative ('bad Britney') implications you lay out.

To me, most of the pieces are about search for love and affection in a Hollywood environment that thrives on artifice and false pretenses.

That listeners can read so much into the CD and that it resonates across several generations (teens through middle aged) bespeaks of its artistic achvievement.
