Britney will not be able to tour until she gets 'free and clear' of the ongoing matrimonial litigation. The deposition she bagged is evidently to determine her 'franchise value', which, to some extent, was enhanced by the 'real life' marriage show she did with 'KFD' on Cable TV. Once that 'magic number' is determined, 'the suits' (Britney's million dollar Bentley-driver Esq and KFD's attorney) should be able to horsetrade some sort of lump sum payout to send KFD on his way. Custody battle is not an end in itself~doubt KFD really wants to be changing diapers and cleaning up vomit from serving the young 'uns over-spicy hotdogs at the amusement park.

I have opined previously that touring the traditional way (performers running themselves ragged) is OBSOLETE in this internet, satellite and 'pay per view' age, particularly given the fact that professional ticket brokers are now 'gaming' the online ticket systems to snag virtually ALL the public arena seats and scalping them to general public at exponential markups (only VIPs who get comp tx are getting in now). Going forward, live concerts will probably be streamed over the internet on pay-per-view or '900' number type basis (as Madonna has already done for AOL subscribers).

The new way presents much less wear and tear for the performer, which benefits us all since the artist should live a lot longer and be left with a lot more life energy to produce good works.

I hope she tours again. I actually heard before the album was released that she was already auditioning dancers for the tour of Blackout.. That was reported on Entertainment Tonight. Hopefully she comes to Orlando, Florida
