Hope I'm proven wrong, but feeling a bit used after 'our Miss Britney's' return engagement on 'How I Met Your Mother' sitcom CBS Monday night, Britney's star power seemed to be cynically used to boost viewership. Even though Abby's presence did advance a story arc initiated in April, the script struck me as overly contrived.

If the show's picked up for another season and further appearances are offered, I'd like to see more dimension in her character.

Britney's bona fides as comic performer and ratings attraction were unmistakenly demonstrated in April and should open doors to other worthwhile opportunities, including return to 'SNL' (taped in LA if circumstances require). I'm also mighty curious what Tina Fey had in mind for Britney on '30 Rock'....And still pitching for kids show appearance on PBS.
