Break the Ice is one of my fav songs on the album and the video totally ruined it, Im disappointed!!!!!! The character didnt even look like her and if I wanted to watch a cartoon like that I would watch cartoon network on my TV. It sucked-she needs to make another video for this song. One thing I love about Brit is her CHARISMA and it comes out best in her dancing-and we got none of that in her latest video. The next video better go back to her roots!

I've been behind this song since the demo was leaked. And all i can say now is that i'm so disappointed. Britney took the time to film on a television comedy series, but could take the time to film a music video for a song to her fans? Why did "brittannica" have us vote for what should the next music video be like if it doesn't matter? i give up. I can't help Britney get better by saying she's the best, when right now she's not up for that number one spot. I don't think Britney really wants to be number 1 any more. All i can do is say, make the Song (Break The Ice) number one on your radio's, but forget it when it comes to the music video. Please Jive make another music video to "break the ice". i wish brit would have at least done the video in the film style of beowoulf.

I think they could've done a better job. They could've made it 3D just like how they did Beowoulf. I hope once Britney is 100% better and fully recovered she will remake this video. The to be continued part, better just be part of the video and not something that Jive is thinking about continuing. I love you Britney, but you need to talk to your people about this video.

Britney is amazing. I remember back in like 2002 she said the reason why she respected Madonna so much was because she was so fresh and kept changing her style and image to define herself.
If you don't support this video, then you are obviously not supporting Britney Spears. When i first saw it I thought it was REALLY different but it's actually so cool because it just shows how Britney does what she wants to do and how she is so independent. So it looks like she took Jive's advise back in 1997 and did an animated video. I am soo like amazed and this is the coolest vid ever!!!

Well, I hate this video so much, but it's good for Britney to focus on getting better, I understand the animation choice and it could have been interesting... but they could have at least afford good animators and stuff, It's a shame for a superstar like Britney, but we can't blame her, BLAME JIVE!!!! THEY SHOULD AT LEAST MAKE ANOTHER ANIMATED VIDEO AS BRITNEY HAS MORE IMPORTANT THINGS TO DO!!!

THIS VIDEO SUCKS! Never in the history of Britney has she ever done anything like this and when they (Jive) told her to do this same thing for ...Baby One More Time she refused and came up with the school girl idea.
I can't believe THIS is how she wants to promote it. Stupid, stupid, stupid. Don't get me wrong I love the whole CD and everything but this is just crap. I couldnt even bear to watch it more than once. I think a really cool video could have been developed and produced but this ugh just sad.
Please go back to the drawing board (literally) and bring this video to life in real-life action.

And the fact that it is so new and refreshing keeps me transfixed for the entire video. I love the animation and I think anime Britney loks great :]
So what if it doesnt have the real Britney in it. She has loads of other videos that do, I think its great that she tried something new it shows she is opening doors for herself.

Im going to have to say i definatly enjoyed this video, it was fresh and new!!!! no it didnt have any of the fantastic Brit dance moves, but it was definatly different (in that it was completly anime and her character kicked some serious butt...) .. a definate success, this was a brave vid to make and for that, more power to you, you keep us guessing and have yet to dissapoint!

I LOVE BRITNEY and like the song but the video was a majour disappointment. I don't like any video clips in cartoon and it doesn't show the real Britney and what she can do. I think they should re-do the video and have Britney dancing like her old self again(especialy at the part of the song when she sais "i like this part..") it would show the world the real Britney and that she is getting better and will rise to the top once more. I also think her next single should be "Radar" where she could be for instance walking down the streets saying what she likes in man then pass by a park where she see's a guy she's attracted too and they start talking, go out together and getting to know eachother and she's thinking if "he know's that he's on her radar" and she dances(like the real Britney has always done and know how to b/c she's a great dancer) or the next song should be "Ooh Ooh Baby" where she could begin the video by sitting near a window thinking(about a guy) and then she starts walking through the house and right before the chorus she goes through a door and then the scene changes to her dancing. After the chorus she comes out the front door of the house and is walking out side singing and so on and in the street she starts dancing again after that she's back to the same scene as the first chorus is singing to a guy and then for the last 2 times she sings the chorus she's dancing and when she sayin "baby..." continuously she takes the guy's hand and they run off "set" so to say. It would be like the onld Britney but at the same time a clip different from what she's ever done. One thing i know is the club scene is getting old and she need's something new. but Brit i love your music and what you do and realy believe your good person as well as kind and sinsere and just need sometime to yourself.

i guess there will be another video.. yay... but she still looks hot!!!!

First of all, I've never liked Britney Spears but I LOVE animation. I've studied animation for a couple years now, so I reluctantly forced myself to watch this video, hoping I'd see something great.

1) I liked the song, but it IS a ripoff of another Japanese Artist. Of course, since most people probably don't listen to J-Pop, nobody would even know. Unfortunately, since the video is in 'anime' style, Brit is going to attract a lot of hardcore anime fans (like myself) who normally don't listen to Brit's music... but are going to see a lot of similarities between her music and the Japanese Artists she practically copied off of.

2) There is nothing new or breakthrough about this video. Continuous animated music videos go back a long way. I'm reminded of Daft Punk (and they did their music videos WAY better). Brit is not the first blonde American Star to turn herself into a fantasy female hero. Can anyone say Courtney Love? At least Courtney Love's comic was INTERESTING. The THEME of the video is as old as time itself... and it doesn't fit the music ANYWAY.

3) The animation is POOR. If you actually pay close attention, there's actually not a lot of real animation. What you see is a lot of boring still shots. Even the parts that ARE animated are cheap repetitions. There was a scene of her back as she was walking. The background was static... and her shoulders just moved back and forth. The whole video followed that pattern. That brings me to my next point. There are a lot of front and side shots. The scenes that are supposed to be really dynamic have her standing still with her hair moving a little. Foreshortening and angled shots are very limited in this video. So basically, a first year student could have created this video. In essence, the video was BORING.

4) I noticed a lot of her fans are disappointed that Brit wasn't in her video herself. I need to remind all of you that Brit is not in ANY condition to be doing her own videos... and she needs to be taking care of other priorities right now. Those fans who mindlessly idolize Brit aren't doing her ANY good either. Right now, Brit isn't any better off mentally than she was before... if getting married out of the blue and getting an abortion are any indicators.

I wish Britney all the best... and although I don't think she actually cares enough to recover, I really do hope she does.

And Brit... get better animators.

This song is supposed to be the best song outta "blackout".

Brit. Brit. should take advice from her die-hard fans and re-do a hot new music video for "Break The Ice" to be the second part of the BTI cartoon MV.
This time, a real Brit. will show up and dance a lot.

I really wish the real Britney had been in the video and was not happy about it at first, but if Britney is happy, then I guess it's ok. I think maybe it was Jive's idea and not Britney's though. So, I'm not a huge fan of the video. I still love Brit and nothing will ever change that. If this video makes her happy, I am all for it.

I know as fans we were expecting the real her , but hey alll I see through out this page is alot of negativity. Hey maybe we didn't get the real britney or maybe the video is not what we expected..But take a second or third look at the video and you can see the storyline is proving a big point in her life. Perhaps this is not directed to us the fan in general but the media and what has been going through out her life during the past months...So give it shot and learn to love it like you LOVE BRITNEY
